Christmas 2002
The North Texas Chapter of the TAVV held it's Christmas Dinner and Party in early December 2002, at the Recreation Center on Sheppard Air Force Base. We had a wonderful turn-out, with more food than we could eat being donated, as well as can goods that were collected, to Faith Mission in Wichita Falls.
Cherie White, North Texas Chapter President got not one, but two hippopotamuses for her wonderful rendition of "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas", Christmas Carols by the Sheppard AFB Choir, and a surprise visit by our own Pvt Foxhole topped off the evening. A jolly good time was had by all and helped to put us all in the holiday spirit.
